The Veterans Council of Martin County Inc. is a federally tax-exempt charitable organization providing services to all military veterans in Martin County, Florida. Members of 13 local organizations, including Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and AMVETS posts are members of the Veterans Council. All members serve on a voluntary basis so 100% of the proceeds received by the organization go to helping Martin County Veterans.

| The Veterans Council of Martin County provides free transportation to elderly, disabled and needy veterans to the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Palm Beach. The council has three vans that make the daily round trips to the hospital at a distance of 80 miles. The Veterans Council transports an average of 2000 veterans of Martin County annually at no charge. If not for the Veterans Council these veterans would not be able to visit the Veterans Administation Hospital for their appointments.

The Veterans Council of Martin County works to prevent Veterans or family members and their dependents from becoming homeless by providing financial assistance, including support in the form of a house/car payment, providing an automobile, utility payments, etc.

The Veterans Council of Martin County sponsors the annual Veterans and Memorial Day parades.
